Canna & Fvan (Shanghai)
CANNA & FVAN
is an artist duo based in Shanghai, working primarily with hand-pulled silkscreen prints. Their practice blends traditional Chinese mythology, folklore, and cultural symbols with futuristic, cyberpunk-
inspired urban imagery, creating a visual language that feels both ancient and speculative.
Drawing from legends, opera, zodiac signs, and everyday city life, their works reimagine familiar stories through bold color, sharp linework, and playful yet critical juxtapositions. Gods become cyborgs, animals turn
into guardians, and modern subways coexist with mythic realms—reflecting a world where tradition and technology continuously collide.
Each artwork is meticulously hand-printed by the artists themselves, then individually signed and released in strictly limited editions. The silkscreen process gives their works a tactile richness and graphic intensity,
making every piece both a collectible object and a narrative image.
CANNA & FVAN’s works appeal to audiences who appreciate storytelling, craftsmanship, and contemporary reinterpretations of Asian culture—bridging East and West, past and future, with a distinctly modern
